Indian Heritage Rotis
Jowar Roti with Bhindi Sabzi
Sorghum is the mildest of the millets, which makes it the right bread for a dry, well-spiced sabzi.
You will need
- 1 pack Jowar Roti
- 400g okra, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Amchur or lemon
Method
- Fry the okra in a wide pan over high heat, undisturbed, until the edges colour.
- Add onion and cook until soft, then the spices, and cook out for a minute.
- Finish with amchur or a squeeze of lemon.
- Warm the roti and serve straight away.
