Jowar Roti with Bhindi Sabzi

Sorghum is the mildest of the millets, which makes it the right bread for a dry, well-spiced sabzi.

Jowar Roti with Bhindi Sabzi

You will need

  • 1 pack Jowar Roti
  • 400g okra, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • Amchur or lemon

Method

  1. Fry the okra in a wide pan over high heat, undisturbed, until the edges colour.
  2. Add onion and cook until soft, then the spices, and cook out for a minute.
  3. Finish with amchur or a squeeze of lemon.
  4. Warm the roti and serve straight away.
